Deadline is June 1, 2009.
Public comment period for the preliminary permitting part of the process officially closed on June 1, however FERC is still accepting comments on this project.  FERC has acknowledged that public comment to date on this proposed project has been strong and noticed.  Please send you comments to FERC using the online submission process outlined below. 

For those who have submitted comments, stand by for the next step in the process where your additional commenting will help determine whether FERC grants a license to Riverbank Power to build and operate their proposed Riverbank Sparta facility.  It is critical you remain engaged, active, and determined.

FERC is very interested to hear from anyone concerned about this project.  They will ultimately grant or deny approval for the project.  Following are instructions for posting comments on the FERC website: 
 
1. Go to:  http://www.ferc.gov/docs-filing/esubscription.asp
2. Sign up as new user, follow instructions
3. Log in with username and password
4. Click "Quick Comments" and follow instructions
5. Enter Docket # P-13353 and follow instructions
6. Select Docket on right +

7. Add your comments and hit "send" - (Note:  So as not to risk losing your comments due to a website glitch, it is suggested you type and save your comments in a Word document, then copy and paste them to comment section.)
